Like a glass engine cover? That would be cool but I wouldn't want the sun directly hitting my engine day in and day out. Prefer to have it fully covered.

Like behind the drivers seat, will it just be a small window or a complete opening that lets you see the engine bay.

But I also prefer to have it fully covered in that aspect, I hate when people know what I'm packing under the hood.. takes away the surprise lol

Well, the whole direction of automotive design these days seem to be going towards something that shows more of the construction of the car if you know what I mean, so with that we might see more of the engine through glass. Chevy did it before with older corvettes, there was that vette from the 50's with a split rear glass.

Corvette engines back in the 50s were pretty covered and man were they beautiful.

Those things were iconic but man did they reduce your rear view vision. Doubt we'll ever see those again.

I found this glorious rendering of the C8 and it looks mean!

I was kind of hoping they would go a bit further with it though. That does look glorious, without a doubt, but, it's just like a C7 with a splitter kit and some aero parts

I doubt Chevy will stray too far from the C7 design and I really wouldn't want them to. The C7 looks great to me with the perfect amount of pinched metal and ridges. Maybe small changes to the front facia like the grill and an extra vent behind the door.
