Hellcats are more for desert running in a straight line. Last two concepts I saw the Hellcat in was a pickup and a Jeep Wrangler.

The corvette will have both power with the new LT5 engine and the looks with better handling for real roads.

It's going to have two turbochargers instead of a supercharger, that's going to need a lot of cooling from extra front vents. Perhaps we'll see hood vents because of the new LT5 engine?

I'm sure they'll be side vents as well to feed more air into there. Much like we see with majority of the mid/rear engined vehicles.

If the LT5 is really going to be pushing out 700 to 760 hp, the C8 will need a new chassis to handle all that power.

It should come with a new chassis considering all of the major changes to that driveline.

Let's hope they don't de-tune the engine to avoid overheating, traction problems, or any number of other issues. That would be a let down for everyone who was hoping to see a 700 to 760 hp C8.

Maybe they'll adapt the 2 key method or is that like a strictly Dodge thing ? I'm sure they can implement one of those multi-tune systems into the vehicle, not that difficult.

Well there are a number of factors here, they have what the market expects of them, what they need to stand out in the market, what they can realistically do, etc.

So whatever they're able to get from that engine will have to meet some serious middle ground or push the enignes tolerance to point where it's almost a gamble just for the sake of making a name for the C8.

If the LT5 can produce 760 hp, maybe they'll detune it a bit but still stay over the 700 threshold.

I don't think there's really much of a choice. They need to keep it over that 700 point just because of competition sake. We not only have Hellcats, but we have Roush supercharged Mustangs. Those things come with 727 or something don't they ?
