Will GXE have their hand on the C8 Corvette?

A brand called GXE just came out with an electric corvette C7 concept and already its getting some good feedback given its performance numbers, the biggest take away being over 800hp.
If they can justify this for the C7, what are the odds we will see something similar done to the upcoming C8? I don't know about you guys but eventually this could mean we get a "poor mans Porsche 918"

When we first covered Genovation’s GXE electric Corvette project back in 2016, we I did so with a lot of reservations. Who could blame me? It cost a full three-quarters of a million dollars, promised more than 600 WHP, and would do a claimed, pie-in-the-sky, bats*** insane 205 MPH. Well, a year on and it looks like the finished product is ready. Except now, it makes more than 800 HP, and will very likely do an IMRA-certified 220 MPH. That’s no mean feat, and I can assure you from experience!

I certainly hope they do with how much power they were able to pack under the Corvette C7's body. Two motors are said to produce 597 kilowatts (800 horsepower) and what's more, it's offered with a 7-speed manual when the usual C7 comes with automatic.

Glad to see someone sides with me on this point because there probably will be no greater generation Corvette to get in on than this one. C7's were nice and all but they were well overdue for a configuration like the C8. Doing this back in the 90's would have been ideal.
