2018 Corvette C7 Carbon 65
Celebrating 65 years of the Corvette, they have released a 2018 C7 Corvette Carbon 65 trim.

This is available for the Grand Sport and the Z06.

Essentially this just adds a bunch of carbon around the car which is always glorious along with a new color - Ceramic Matrix Metallic

Inside, Chevrolet has touched up the cabin with Jet Black suede and blue, red or yellow, color-contrast stitching, while each Carbon 65 gains a carbon-fiber steering wheel rim and gloss carbon-fiber interior trim. Convertibles also gain a blue soft top.
You can also spot some fancy new shoes which are unique to the trim finished in black with machined grooves and carbon center caps.

As for availability, these Corvettes will be quite limited. Just 650 units will be produced for consumers globally with a price of $15,000 over the standard MSRP on a Grand Sport or Z06. The 2018 C7 Corvette Carbon 65 will launch this summer to celebrate 65 years of the iconic Corvette nameplate.

I absolutely love those rear wings they come with that have the clear center section. Adds so much more character and beefiness to it

With only 650 units being produced, do you think this would be one of those models that will appreciate after they all sell out?

A very very very long time from now. Corvettes don't really increase in value until they're ridiculously old lol. The C3s are now increasing in value so that should give you a bit of a perspective on it.

Due to all the hype there will be some immediate jump in price which to my guess could be 10-15% on top of its MSRP. That already is some motivation for being an early buyer. Being available globally is a big part of that. If it was just a North American thing the increase percentage would be less.

Yea, maybe due to the hype right at the beginning. But not too sure if it's really worth it. The smartest new American car to had been bought I think would have been the ACR. Those are going to be worth something a lot sooner considering the Viper is not in production anymore.
